This Saturday the 27th of August these two student societies in conjunction with TSiBA are proudly paying it forwards at the Langa Cheshire Home for the disabled.
The establishment located in Langa was formed in 1990 and houses 26 disabled and bedridden elderly individuals; they are one of 10 Cheshire homes in the country. The Langa Cheshire Home has indicated that one of its needs are to have their rooms painted, cleaned and their garden planted as they eat from it and sell the rest for some income.
This project is going to see students, staff, mentors, friends and families of TSiBA painting, gardening and cleaning at the home, from 9am – 3pm. This initiative has been well supported by TSiBA which believes in students developing their own communities. This philosophy goes beyond as one of the TSiBA graduates Xolani Kula who now works at Oceana has convinced his company to also give something, they will be giving tined fish products which we are sure will make some good meals at the home. Another TSiBA graduate Adeeb Samsoodien who has a sound company and is also a DJ has also come on board in paying it forward to keep everyone entertained! A bank (which we will reveal at a later stage) has also pledged to make a considerable cash donation.

We really appreciate all those who have planned so hard to make this project come to life, all those who have offered to assist and are giving their time and resources as well as those who are going to be working hard this Saturday.

We know this is one of many partnerships to come and if you want to come on board and assist us in developing our communities, we are only an email away. There is still loads more that needs to be done all around the country and we are not limited to any boundaries.
