1st Quarterly Breakfast Networking Forum - Noor Parker’s Journey

You are here: Home» Blog» 1st Quarterly Breakfast Networking Forum - Noor Parker’s Journey

Our First Quarterly Breakfast Networking Forum was a complete success! Fifty local entrepreneurs and small business owners attended to hear Noor Parker’s inspirational story. Our theme for this breakfast was “The Journey of an Entrepreneur,” and Noor’s story is most certainly a journey.

Parker is a small man, standing at a mere 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm), but his personality and passion filled the room. His story begins at age six, when he was forced to live on the streets with his mother and younger brother. It was this extreme poverty that first ignited his entrepreneurial spirit. At this early age, Parker began sweeping and cleaning at a corner shop in exchange for popcorn which he then sold door-to-door. As a young schoolboy he began fixing anything and everything he could from watches to radios to toys in exchange for money. It was this experience that taught him he enjoyed fixing things and had a talent for it. Thanks to his mother’s insistence, he continued his education and got a degree in engineering. His drive and work ethic lead him to becoming a junior partner of a major audio-visual company in his early twenties. However, he lost everything after discovering that his employers were taking advantage of him. Despite all of the ups and downs in his life, Noor Parker is now the owner of three highly successful companies. His most well-known company is Digital Expressions which specializes in high-tech home automation solutions, the first of its kind.
Noor Parker is inspirational, not because he has become so successful, but rather because he has maintained a sense of humility and a true passion for his work and the people who are struggling to find their own entrepreneurial paths.

A special thanks to those who attended and all those who aided in the organization of this wonderful event.

Our next Quarterly Breakfast will be on the 22nd of May. We look forward to seeing all of you there!
